Energy is the topic of our time and our university. How high is our energy demand? How do we cover it? What measures do we rely on in the short and medium term to save energy? How can the energy turnaround at the Ruhr-Universität succeed sustainably and in the long term?
Ruhr University has the energy consumption of a small town. In view of rising costs, energy must be saved in order to maintain standards in research, study and teaching. To achieve this goal, all members are called upon to do their part: from the sum of even the smallest measures, massive energy savings quickly emerge.
Employees can find specific content on the subject of saving energy in the service portal, such as Checklisten for simple routines and organizational changes in the workplace / work area.
