Who we are
The Green Office initiates, coordinates and supports all sustainability projects at Ruhr University and networks actors who want to get involved in more sustainability on campus.
Where we are based
The office is assigned to the Department of Construction and Real Estate of Ruhr University. Our team consists of three permanent employees and three student assistants.
What we do
We inform and advise all students and employees of Ruhr University on their questions regarding sustainability and take care of the implementation of sustainability projects on campus.
We
- initiate and accompany projects for a sustainable university
- Plan and implement our own campaigns on campus
- support sustainable educational projects and initiatives, as well as transfer ideas
- network sustainability stakeholders on and off campus
- communicate publicly about sustainability activities
Why we do what we do
Offices are often the epitome of stagnation and routine. But not so at the RUB Green Office. Come by, get to know us and exchange ideas with us.
Our aim is to take advantage of opportunities, to network committed RUB actors, to make sustainability visible on campus and to work together towards a sustainable future for RUB.
